xbox or ps3? cause i finally got in about 30 minutes ago on xbox. deleted the title update and deleted and re-created my character, and then it worked

Nah. They told you it was gonna be a clusterfuck, so at least they were honest. Also, there's a whole 'we need you to be always online constantly because our cloud computers handle some of the stuff your computer can't, only that's a goddamned lie and we're making you do it because we have no problem treating paying customers like parolees' component to the EA launch clusterfuck that made it exponentially worse.

It was either this (which sucks) or quotas (which suck even harder IMHO). Stay patient and all will be well sooner or later.
